Quando a vibração do acionamento de um transportador sobe, o campo fica entre duas hipóteses com custos muito diferentes: acúmulo de material na polia, que se resolve com limpeza e raspadores, ou defeito de eixo, mancal ou redutor, que exige parar a correia e abrir o conjunto. Decidir errado custa uma parada desnecessária ou um defeito que evolui até a quebra.
A mesma correia já tinha dado o sinal em maio de 2026: a assinatura elétrica acompanhou o desgaste por meses e a substituição da correia em 20/05 devolveu o indicador à referência, o que calibrou a leitura deste ativo.
Conveyor belt M1J03 feeds the grinding line at Mizu's Vitória plant, driven by a 36.7 kW motor through a gearbox and pulley. When drive vibration rises on a conveyor, the field team is left with two hypotheses of very different cost: material build-up on the pulley, solved with cleaning and scrapers, or a shaft, bearing or gearbox defect, which means stopping the belt and opening the drive. Getting it wrong costs either an unnecessary stop or a defect that evolves into a breakdown.
The same belt had already given a signal in May 2026: the electrical signature tracked its wear for months, and the belt replacement on 20 May brought the indicator back to baseline, calibrating the reading for this asset.

Using the current and voltage signals from the electrical panel, Ultronline tracks the component tied to the passage of the belt. Between 28 August and 4 September it rose about 4 dB (2.5 times the energy) above the asset's own baseline, with RMS current 10% above normal, while the motor's rotation components stayed stable. 2Neuron's proprietary AI crossed the signature with the drive kinematics (1,770 rpm motor, gearbox and pulley) to separate what was motor from what was belt, without stopping the machine.

Scrapers remove material before it builds up on the pulley. The behaviour is consistent with material build-up on the drive pulley, addressed during the 8 September stop without opening the gearbox. Within 48 h the electrical signature was back to baseline and the platform alarm left the critical level.

Retorno: uma única falha evitada representa retorno de 40x a 150x sobre o custo anual do Ultronline neste ativo. Só a abertura desnecessária do redutor, evitada, já paga anos de monitoramento.
What was at stake: a belt feeding the grinding line stopped for an emergency repair halts downstream production for hours. The other side of the error also costs: stopping the belt and opening the gearbox to look for a defect that was not there.
Return: a single avoided failure represents a return of 40x to 150x on the annual cost of Ultronline for this asset. The unnecessary gearbox opening alone, avoided, already pays for years of monitoring.
